The power of Prayer and Prophecy

At the end of October last year, I was in the city of Iquitos in the Peruvian Rainforest taking Ayahuasca with my healer and Teacher Cesar Panduro. It was a nice ceremony and things were moving quite beautifully. Towards the end of the ceremony I was shown a very clear vision of a ceremony I was to do for the ocean in Lima, specifically off the coast of the suburb of La Punta in the port city of Callao. I could see an epicenter for an earthquake building up near the Island of San Lorenzo that was a few miles off the coast.

A few weeks later I was in Lima and started feeling the energy of the earthquake very strong and knew that a ceremony was needed. I thought that I would have to go out in a boat and place an offering right over the epicenter to be. I was told to come and do the ceremony on December 20th.

Around the 12th of December in Meditation I saw a big Earthquake causing a tsunami and completely wiping out the suburb of La Punta and destroying large parts of Callao where I have family living. I heard a loud voice saying" change your plans, go and do ceremony on the 18th"!!

So I changed my plans and flew to Lima on the 18th and headed straight to a good friends yoga studio and meditation space, stopping only to buy some ingredients for the ceremony. We prayed long and hard, creating a mandala that summoned the energies of Ammachi and Satya Sai Baba, Pachamama and the goddess of the ocean Yemanja. We were able to see the historical and political situation in Peru. The epicenter was near an island that used to be full of slaves doing hard labor during colonial times and later on a prison named Fronton was built there and became the site of a massacre in the 1980's when the then president Alan Garcia called in the navy and put down a riot by having the navy bombard the prison resulting in a large number of deaths.

These energies combined with the karma of people disrespecting their ancestors, elders and surroundings was causing a huge bubble of energy just waiting to burst at the slightest pressure of the Teutonic plates deep under the sea. We asked for forgiveness in the name of all sentient beings and where shown how to create a boundary around the epicenter.

The ceremonial mandala was finished in the beautiful form of a multicolored heart, representing all nations and beings. After the ceremony I went to my friends home content with the energies and loving vibrations from the presence of Sai Baba and Ammachi. We took the elevator to my friends 5th floor apartment and as we got inside, a incredibly loud rumbling sound was heard outside like a loud cracking or big BOOOM and the building started shaking and we ran downstairs as did the other inhabitants of the building and neighborhood. It was a 4.8 earthquake that lasted only around 18 seconds but it was only an hour and a half after our ceremony. Within the next 10 minutes there were earthquakes in Indonesia as well as New Zealand. What may have happened if we had not done ceremony? Only the lord knows. I am so grateful to the sacred medicine of Ayahuasca for showing the need for the ceremony and to my teachers, both earthly and divine for their love and care for all of us. I bow down to you in gratitude and love, may I always listen to you with my heart and being.Please teach and show me always to be attentive to your will beloved Lord.

Prophecies are important warnings that if heeded and prayed about, can bring safety and peace to all sentient beings. They are not things to get alarmed or paranoid about but warnings that should be acted upon with faith and love. 2012 is a time for change in our thinking and behavior. By changing and keeping them positive we can help our world and universe to be a safe and loving home for all of our descendants.

while descending into Atlanta on Delta airlines, all of a sudden we pulled up super sharply instead of landing and then the pilot says we have a situation, a light came on in the cockpit, nothing to worry about and when we land dont get alarmed by the emergency vehicles, I declared an emergency but nothing to worry about. Plop!
Needless to say , all is well and faith is amazing!
And then Dave Mathews starts talking to me about american security procedures while we are in line at security..we laughed, nice guy..Om sai ram, all is well!

My experience with the dangerous side of Shamanism

Dear Friends

I just posted a story about what a shaman is that I found on the website, The Shamans Well. It has many beautiful and concise things to say that I agree with. The one thing that I would like to add from my experience is that it is super important to acknowledge the creator in all of the spiritual and normal work and life experiences that the Shaman does and lives.

I remember the time when I was learning shamanism and apprenticing at the beginning of my spiritual trail and it was so easy to tap into Power and how good it felt to leave my body or to enter into some one else's space, to read or scan someone and tell them what was wrong with them, to speak with the elements and be heard. I would go out of my way to demonstrate to people the power that I thought I had. It was important to fill my personal void of insecurity with power and so I got exposed to black magic and the dark side of Ayahuasca Shamanism.

Thee beginning of of my shamanic entry into the Amazon rainforest started when I was 15 with my father who is a Peruvian Medicine man who had taken me there for my first Ayahuasca ceremony. It was not a big event for me. The jungle was beautiful and I enjoyed the medicine's soft journey. I took Ayahuasca on and off for many years until I was called to seriously study by the plants themselves when I was 26.

I had taken a German man to the jungle to meet some healers that I knew upon his request, he was interested in taking Ayahuasca. I looked for the Ayahuasquero that I knew and could not find him so a cab driver took me to one that he knew and so began a different experience completely that would teach me so much and continues to do so years later. The medicine woman happily opened her door to us and when we asked about taking Ayahuasca, she told me to come that evening and to be careful and not eat spicy or heavy and fried things before.

So I came back with my friend and we took the medicine, it was a beautiful night and the sounds of mother Natures orchestra was loud and firm in its intention to make it rain, and rain it did. While we journeyed to the beautiful lullaby of the shamans voice, we were visited by the spirits of the rainforest and the medicine cleaned out our insides as we purged into the plastic buckets that the medicine woman had given us for that purpose. After the ceremony, she told us to come back the next day for another one that would definitely heal my friend.

The next evening we came back for our ceremony, she gave us both a large dose and it definitely pushed me through the other side like never before in my life. I had also never taken medicine two days in a row before. This time I saw elemental spirits so clearly, Indian warriors and old medicine women telling me to stay and study with them. I knew they were elementals because of the way they stand by a tree or their outfits were made from barks or leaves. It was an amazing experience and a deep call that I heeded. My friend was healed and I came back a few months later.

I started studying with this beautiful Ayahuasquera, I did the diet of no sugar, salt fried foods or intimate contact for six months with her and I learned extremely fast. It felt like the shamanic DNA inside me was re awakening. I could fly into other realities, see the future and past very clearly, at the same time I could see other shamans on the astral plane of Ayahuasca. Shamans who were taking the medicine just like us at the same time. I saw how they would come into our sessions and try and disrupt us, attempt to steal my third eye or shoot shamanic darts or Virotes at us. I remember a shaman that I had stopped some friends from going to work with coming to me in a session and start burning me all over my body with his mapacho cigarette and then the worst happened.....

I was starting to only feel good when I was at my teachers house. I would walk around town doing my things and I kept feeling that I needed to rush back to her home and when I would get there, I would feel so much better. A plant healer that I knew told me that I was being majiked and I should be careful who I work with. I got super defensive with him and almost angry and said "there is no way that she would do that to me". He smiled sadly and never brought it up again.

One day while at her house, a man came to her and asked for her help in bringing back his lover to him. It seemed that she had run away with another boy. My teacher said, I can help you through the Ayahuasca session, no problem.He gave her some money and left. The one big issue for me was that he was around forty years old and the girl who ran away from him 14. I looked at my teacher and asked her if she was going to to do the job, she looked at me kind of funny as she said that she would not.
That afternoon as I slept in her house in a hammock, the trees outside her home came to me and warned me"leave her, dont take medicine with her anymore"! I woke up concerned and asked her if it would be ok to take medicine by myself in my home. She told me it was a good idea and asked me to come back later that evening and she would give me something special. I came in the evening and she very hurriedly gave me a small bottle. I went back to my small room in town, made myself ready and drank the medicine, it was dark, chunky and pretty nasty tasting. As the medicine journey began, I could see her in her own ceremony calling that girl back to the older man and it was like a veil was lifted and I saw her dark side and at the same time I saw how she had put her bodily fluids and menses into the Ayahuasca that she had given me.

It was an incredible shock and I went to her home the next day when I knew she would not be there to get my didge and some other things and to thank the trees for warning me. A I did this, I knew inside myself that I would never come back. The teacher knew that I knew how she played both sides now and the attacks kept coming. I would wake up to my own screaming..I did not know what was waking me up. I saw how she had buried my picture in a graveyard. I prayed to God for helo and left teachers and went into the deep bush and started working with the spirits and elementals themselves as my teachers and became clearer and stronger until Sai Baba walked into my home and called me to India and put me into check and popped that ego bubble of power and scanning and wanting to be right and acknowledged and back into my heart and the principles of Love All, Serve All. here is a link to that story if you would like to read it.

I have had to cleanse myself for many years to flush out the fluids that I drank inside that Ayahuasca of insecurity that was given to me. I have had to forgive and look at why it was done and at the same time give thanks for the experience that showed me the duality of the Shamanic world. The truth for me is that most Ayahuasqueros are sorcerors and play both sides. I am speaking from experience and for myself. Its one thing to go and take medicine with someone and have an incredible experience full of visions and beautiful songs, its another thing to see what is going on behind the songs and see the programmer and not just the program.

It is very easy to be a dark shaman or sorcerer. Very easy to work for the dark side. I know of shamans who learned their medicinal ways in the Peruvian rainforest from sorcerers not knowing who their teachers were. Now when they sing their songs, they are giving beautiful experiences to their patients but at the same time, they take energy from their patients to make themselves stronger. It is not a good thing to learn just to learn. The power can be seductive, the visions incredible and the feeling of knowing so much..addicting.

Ayahuasca is a medicine and should be treated with respect, if you are going to open the doors of your soul to someone, please make sure that they take their shoes off first. I have been lucky that God looked after me so well and showed me what was really going on. I am not perfect nor claim to be a realized teacher but one thing is for sure, I love God and the light. I ask you all to please be careful as you study or learn from a Shaman or a spiritual guide. Ask your questions to them personally, ask them
if they believe in God, dont be afraid to know who you are dealing with. Its your soul, take good care of it. Follow your spiritual compass, your intuition that you are born with, trust your gut feelings and you will be fine.

Integrity, honesty and love of the divine should be the hallmarks of a Shaman. Strong moral principles and humility are the clues through which they shall be recognized. I know of a few who walk that way and I am grateful that they are here on earth. May their lives be long and may they be protected and cared for in all ways. May we be guided to the teachers of honesty and integrity and thus spread the message of love through our practice. This way the scales will tilt and the forces of darkness will be no more.

I now have a beautiful teacher who is not afraid to learn from his students and this gives me great confidence in the power of humility and surrender to Gods will. I am blessed and protected, thank you Lord. If you have any questions or comments, I would love to hear them.

What Is A Shaman? A Visionary, A Doctor Of The Soul, And A Bridge To Spirit | The Shaman's Well

Shamanism has been practiced for millenia in the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia. Research by Michael Harner and others has shown great similarity in the practices and traditions between them all.

In this post we'll give a little history on shamanism and then outline some different points of what makes a person a shaman.

What Is Shamanism?
First, Michael Harner gives us a little history of shamanism and on the early shamans:

In the languages of the old ones wisdom meant one word. In Tungus it was Saman, in Tocharian it was Samane, in Prakrit it was Samana and in Sanskrit it was Sramanas.

The word Shaman is a cognate to the word Saman, first used by a Tungus-speaking people, the Evenk, in Siberia. The role of the Shaman in his/her society was/is a vital one. They talked to spirits and animals and saw visions of the future. Born from the reverence early humanity had for their surroundings and the eternal wonderment of the spirit world, Shamanism held a distinction as being different than a magician or healer in early society. For the Shaman would walk the pathway to the spirit world routinely. Through altered states of consciousness induced with or without the aid of a catalyst, the Shaman would converse with the spirits. As a faith, Shamanism fits into many types of belief systems, due to the fact that is independent of dogmatic, institutionalized religion.

Shamanism is one of the oldest divinatory practices in the world to promote healing and spiritual wellness. By archaeological and anthropological evidence the practice has existed for some 20,000 to 30,000 years. Evidence of Shamanism has been found globally in isolated regions of the Americas, Asia, Africa, regions of Europe and Australia.

    11/11/11 has come and passed and with it came so many blessings on the holiest of levels. As a sacred group, we journeyed through Peru to her Amazon rainforests and the Sacred valley of the Incas and on to Machu Pichu and the mystical waterfall of Mandor. We cleansed and purified to sacred Icaros and danced to the beat of the djembe and didgeridoo.

We shed tears of healing and happiness and soared to the songs of the Condors and learned humility and an awareness of the moment. It was an incredible group and I am so grateful to Bhagavan Sri Satya Sai Baba for arranging such a wonderful pilgrimage and for showing me so clearly that to be a good teacher, I must always continue to be a good student.

I am beholden to the masters of light and shamans of this sacred land. As I sit here on the boulevard overlooking the Amazon jungle in Iquitos Peru, I feel positive and upbeat knowing that 11/11/11 was a success beyond what I had imagined and that we are all changed by the sacred glance of Lord Shiva and the blessings of the Earth and the Sun that were revealed at 11.11 am on Machu Pichu. The green heart ray of Machu Pichu and the golden ray of the Sun Star entered our hearts and we were blessed by the golden green energies of healing and light. As I sang Om Namah Shivaya, I could see Lord Shiva Himself with the universe swirling around him as he looked at us with his open third eye and blessed us with his essence. May the blessings of Lord Shiva carry us through our lives and these times in a beautiful loving way.

Greetings from Pyatigorsk, in the Caucas region of Russia where we have been doing ceremonies with Sai Family and loving our Pachamama and the sacred Apu mountains such as El Bruce and Beshtau. The land is powerful as well as the ancient Vedic vibrations from ceremonies that have been happening around here at sacred sites for centuries.

There are religious extremists in the region that wish to destabilize it through violence and bombings and we have been praying to God so that there may be peace and stability in the region. Greetings from Frankfurt, Germany. Just got here after a long journey by plane, train and bus from lovely Sardegna, Italy where I just spent three weeks with my wife enjoying the lovely Mediterranean sea and preparing for the next two months of travel in service to the US,Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.

It was a beautiful trip and of course it would not be complete without ceremony. We did ceremony for Goddess Yemanja and our beloved Satya Sai Baba and the day before we had to leave, I got a spiritual indication to go do ceremony at Neptune's Grotto. It is a 30 minute boat ride from Alghero and is a beautiful cave that is at the bottom of a cliff with such ancestral energy.

I took the Amara Sai Iswhara lingam there as instructed to share Swamis' energy and helped to activate a gigantic natural lingam at the entrance to the beautiful kingdom and well...Let the pictures show you who was inside the cave:)

Stargate of 11/11/11

HI Friends and Family

People have been asking me about the upcoming trip to Peru and the meaning of the Stargate of 11/11/11..

I did not know about the Stargate of 11/11/11 until I received a divine message while in Varanasi India in April where I was told to take a group of people to Machu Pichu to receive it. I saw it as an actual portal in the universe out of which was descending so much grace and strength. This strength is to fill us with courage and the grace to help us live in integrity and conscious awareness of our walk needing to be just as strong as our talk. I feel that the blessings of this Stargate is to help us welcome the blessings of 2012 in a positive and conscious way.

I see Machu Pichu working as a gigantic trampoline from which we are able to jump up, and with the momentum of this special date and time, we will be so close to the Star beings, that we can easily accept the blessings that they are placing into our consciousness or DNA with so much joy.

A dream becomes reality, the blessings of Sai Baba continue

Beloved Friends and Family

Three nights ago I was watching a video of the Maha Shivaratri celebration 2010 here in Puttaparthi India and enjoying Swami's video darshan. Before I went to sleep I wondered if I would have a Swami dream..

In the early hours of the morning I dreamed of Sai Baba holding a black fruit, looking like a cross between and coconut and a durian and as it was opened, the center of the fruit looked like a Yoni out of which fell a black Lingam. I picked up this Lingam in the dream and put it into a pot of water and then watched as the Lingam split into three Lingam's. Inside the pot were also pieces of silver and Himalayan salt.

I woke up quite happy from this dream and immediately called my guru Sri Balayogi Sai Manjunatha Maharaj in Bangalore to tell him about the amazing dream and as I excitedly told him about the Black Lingam, he kept telling me no no, its a white Lingam and when I finally stopped to listen to him, he said"and it manifested on my altar this morning in front of Shirdi Sai Baba's picture for you"..At his home there have been constant miracles happening such as honey pouring down Swami's picture, vibhuti appearing on many pictures and last month a Hanuman statue appeared on the altar for my brother in law..So I knew he was serious..

But I mean..WOW... Swami gave me a Lingam in the dream time and it came through the dimensions to reality..So beautiful, so exciting and at the same time a serious responsibility to share in the blessings of the lord.

This 450 gram Lingam is called the Ammara Sai Ishwaraa Lingam and is for world welfare and to use in ceremonies for world peace that I am blessed to conduct for all of us..

Sai Baba walks into my heart, deep in the Amazon

I bow to the divine essence of Bhagavan Sri Satya Sai Baba and humbly ask for his blessings and inspiration to share these words with you. Ceremony is the base of my spiritual practice and what I share around the world with my global family. I facilitate and lead fire and offering to the earth ceremonies wherever I go, these ceremonies assist the local areas where they are performed, removing obstacles, clearing dark and unnecessary energies from within and without and unite us in the universal teachings of love and brotherhood.

I started attending ceremonies when I was a young boy of three or four growing up on the banks of the Ganges river in Varanasi India. My parents would take me to the river and while we walked along her banks, we could hear the Sanskrit prayers and mantras being chanted for the welfare of all beings. I remember my father leaving me at a Tibetan monastery on Saraswati hill in Swayambhu in Nepal for a few weeks and having many young monks as my friends.When I was eleven years old, I attended first of many sweat lodge ceremonies with my father in California with Charlie Tom, a sacred elder from Mount Shasta. At fifteen, I participated in an Ayahuasca ceremony with indigenous healers in the Peruvian Amazon and the next year journeyed through time and space with my father and the San Pedro medicine on lake Titicaca. From Indian temples and Tibetan monasteries to majestic Christian Cathedrals, sacred caves, ancient ruins and Jungle clearings, I have been blessed to feel the sacred communion of ancient mysticism in action.

It had never been a question for me whether we can communicate with a higher power or not, I just chose not to because I thought that I could do it all for myself. I am so glad that the lord in his kindness, reminded me that it was my right to ask for divine assistance and when I did, I was immediately answered in the form of Shri Satya Sai Baba.

It was while I was apprenticing in the Amazon rainforest in the year 2000, I had been studying practical shamanism, Ayahausca therapy and plant remedies for several months which started after going to the Amazon to flush out the toxins of a three year party binge. While detoxing I had an amazing vision on Ayahuasca of a beautiful Mohawk Indian appearing out the forest wearing a loin cloth and an Eagle on his shoulder, he looked at me and said "stay here and learn with us".

So I stayed for over a year, doing the process of dieting, which means that one does not eat sugar or salt, only basic fruits and simple grains, no sex, liquor or intoxicants. While on the diet, one eats and drinks plant essences, lives in the forest while communing with nature and learning to identify the plants and trees that would appear in ceremonies bearing gifts such as remedies in the form of salves, tinctures, powders and teas. They would sing songs to me and in the trance states I would hear their instructions on where to find them, how they looked like, what time to harvest their barks and how to prepare their healing teas that would be good for my liver, make my brain stronger, clean my kidney and help me journey farther and farther into realms beyond my wildest imagination. Realms of earth, water, fire and air where the abilities to diagnose illness of the spirit,mind and body are taught by ancient sages who sit under beautiful Banyan trees and show how to make medicines and sing the healing lullabies called Icaro's. Each tree, river, rock and animal has an Icaro and knowing different Icaro's helps one to journey and use the ability and power of energy being summoned by the song to heal and assist as necessary.

I was traveling through these kingdoms at a lightening fast pace, assimilating teaching's, songs and healing abilities. Seeing shamans doing amazing things and learning how to do these myself did not teach me any humility, in fact as my new found powers grew so did my ego. I was inspired to tell others about what ailed them, how they slept and what they had for dinner the night before, I liked the surprise and impressed looks that I got.

During this time I would do a small ceremony every night, involving sacred plants, medicines and singing. This combination would put me into a trance where I would be open to receiving information from the elements and forces of nature, they would give me instruction on how to make formulas for healing and show me different options with diverse plants and trees around the world. They would show me how a palm tree in the Amazon could give one remedy and the palm tree in Egypt could give another one, the symbiosis was amazing.

One night as I prepared for my ceremony, thunder began to rumble in the heavens and as lightning streaked across the tropical sky, I heard a voice as loud as the thunder of ten thousand storms deep inside my soul saying"why are you not asking god for help?" I was asked this question three times and as I sank to my knees I realized that I had not been asking the highest source of all for help, I was just taking what I was being given and not going to the creator of everything.

Then and there I gave myself to Lord Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. asking them to work through me, to bless my life and to instruct me on what it is that I must do.

Three days later as I prepared myself for the evening ceremony, the house that I lived in began to smell like roses, a deep scent that I had never smelt so strongly and out of the corner of my eye I glimpsed a flash of orange and there standing in front of me was Bhagavan Sri Satya Sai Baba.

I had heard of him and tasted his vibhuti only recently and knew that he was a saint from India. As I mentioned his name in my head, he nodded at me in the Indian Style and said"you will be sitting in front of my feet in four months in India" I replied that I had no money, to which he said" I will take care" and then vanished. I sat there astonished and surprised, I had no idea what it meant to be visited by Sai Baba or what he represented. The visit that night became one of many.

My father is a spiritual teacher and brings people to sacred sites all over the world,he brought a group of students from England with him to the Amazon Rainforest where I met up with him. We were staying in a beautiful jungle lodge with a nice pool where I would swim to cool off from the tropical heat, one afternoon as I was swimming" a lady who was studying with my father mentioned that she had seen my "tattoo of an elephant before" I asked her to explain and she started to tell me about a sai baba nag champa oil that she would put on her third eye before meditation and one day she had a vision of the elephant tattooed on my right shoulder. So we started to speak about Sai Baba whom we both did not know much about and her interest in Indian culture. A few days later she tells me that she wants to go to India and will help me to go to Sai Baba's, and so four months later as Sai Baba had predicted, I was in Whitefield India sitting at his feet and have never left them since.

Sai Baba changed my life, brought honesty, humility and the desire to serve more and boast less into my thinking and being. He has touched my family, my loved ones and everyone I know. He got me off of tobacco and liquor, cleaned up my speech and has blessed me with a sacred marriage, a home and love for all sentient beings that inspires the ceremonies that I do.

The ceremonies that I am called and led to do around the world are for our beloved mother Earth or Pachamama, they are to nurture and heal her, to let her know that we love, appreciate and will do our best for her and and all sentient beings. My ceremonies are touched by the grace and love of Bhagavan Sri Satya Sai Baba and are completely dedicated to sharing his universal teachings that help us to come closer to our divinity..

Morality comes and grows, update from Athens, Greece

   A few months ago while in India, I was told to go and pray at the Greek temple of Acropolis for the stability of the Euro. I bowed my head upon hearing this and asked Satya Sai Baba"why should I go when you are all powerful and can do everything and anything instantly"? I was told "just go"..

   And so I went and to Athens and walked up to the Acropolis. As I started my walk, I was visited by a vision of the goddess Athena who in a caring way told me to have breakfast before walking up so that I would not feel weak on the mountain. She was carrying a beautiful amphora out of which crystal clear water flowed washing my soul clean, welcoming me to her city.

As I had breakfast and a bottle of water, I felt the energy so strange in the water, like it had no energy to it indicating that the waters in the area have not been respectfully thanked in a while. Finishing my breakfast, I started walking up the mountain, taking time to offer water to the sun, asking for permission to walk up to the temples at Acropolis.

      As I walked up the ancient steps, I could feel the mystical energies of galactic knowledge wrapping themselves around me welcoming me home. I could feel white doves of peace flying through the air and trumpets blew announcing the change of an era. This was the time to change the equation of greed pride and arrogance that had been the downfall of the ancient civilizations that were the mothers and fathers of this sacred place. It was time to call upon the Kali Yuga Avatara Bhagavan Sri Satya Sai Baba to plant his divine will deep into the recesses of ancestral memory and revert our cells to the original places of purity from which we all stem. We are the conscious embodiments of truth,Love and bliss, We are the ones that we have been waiting for . Let us wake up and look at the sun, moon and stars and say thank you for all that you bless us with. Its is the time for appreciation to be the food from which all sentient beings nourish themselves with. Dont mistake yourselves anymore, you are right in believing, you are pure in every way.. God loves you.

    Upon reaching the top I felt that the area had not been utilized as a place of worship for a long long time and that there used to be a beautiful clear pool of water that was used in ceremony. Offering water to a materialized lingam from Swamis will and doing the Gayatri 108 times, I could feel molten gold flowing through me into the mountain like I never felt before and as I recited prayers to the mother of the Vedas, I could feel the millions of Gayatris being recited by people around the world for Swami's health and how this is raising the spiritual frequency of the world like never before.

     The mountain shifted and Swami's energy descended into the heart of the Acropolis and shot out like an arrow from Rama's bow through all of Europe and beyond. I could perceive how each country in Europe has its own agenda, culture and ideology and how Morality needs to come and grow for conscious economics to stabilize, the acts of Dharma that nurture our spiritual progress must be the same acts that fuel economies, governments and social policy. Every single act that we do as human beings has value, everything that you do matters. Please remember that each one of you is an important piece of this beautiful puzzle that is coming together to reveal the Golden age of Satya, Dharma, Shanti, Prema and Ahimsa. and you can change the world that your children will inherit.

    As the water seeped into the earth, I understood how important it is to water our intentions with prayer and appreciation, that these will surely help our beautiful seeds to grow into amazing trees of life, full of abundance to be shared with all nations. I pray that the waters of pure light that are flowing down from Athena's temple will inspire all people to remember their greatness as shining bastions of culture and wisdom and may the divine intellect work through all to co create a new age of love and peace starting with ourselves.

   Ancient Sacred Sites are sometimes dormant and prayer and intention feed and awaken them. How can we use the spiritual tools that we have, to honor the sacred sites in our own communities?We can honor our earth with genuine intention and loving surrender, by offering ourselves as gifts to the earth, cosmos and all that is as we step out of our ego mind and become one.

Ceremony for Washington DC and the political system

A very beautiful ceremony was held at Yoga District in DC , a donation based yoga studio that is helping the community incredibly. We prayed for the humanity to exist within politics but also for us to look at politicians and corporations not as things separate from us as human beings. Every politician and corporate head has a mother and father, they may have children and are thus human like us. We are so used to looking at the situation as US versus Them and they look at us as numbers or statistics also because we don't send them love anymore and so a negative cycle is created , to break this cycle we can look at them as human beings with as much love and compassion as possible. This may seem difficult and even laughable and yet it is completely doable. We can bring compassion into the external system only when we finally allow it into our own system. So smile, share a heartwarming experience and enjoy your time here on earth. You deserve it!

Last night we had a beautiful ceremony that started out a little strained because I prayed for the success of Michele Obama's program for better nutrition in the American school's and for her husband, Barack Obama to be able to help the people in a good way and this apparently pressed some buttons and I was told that this should not be included in ceremony. We pray for mother earth and on this planet we have politicians and different viewpoints that need to be respected across the board and if we don't pray for them, then who will? Prayer is the way that we change things, we are reminded in ceremony about the importance of truth, and as we learn to speak truth, we start to live and imbibe it and as this happens, its spreads from us throughout the land, creating a ripple effect that affects the core of humanity and this will return us to the Dharmic principles that are necessary to live in a world of peace and harmony..

Sathya Sai Baba: Dharma is the eternal source. Dharma is a great virtue. Dharma is the basis for everything. In this world nothing is higher than righteousness. Man must follow the path of Dharma, to know himself, to discard demonic qualities, to foster human qualities, to develop divine qualities and to achieve a good life.

This Mantra was given in meditation to my Guru Sri Sai Manju yesterday and needs to be chanted continuously by as many people as possible to help protect Japan from any more calamities and to help our mother earth to feel loved and embraced by the creator and her children.

Varaha (Sanskrit: वराह) is the third Avatar of the Hindu Godhead Vishnu, in the form of a Boar. He appeared in order to defeat Hiranyaksha, a demon who had taken the Earth (Prithvi) and carried it to the bottom of what is described as the cosmic ocean in the story. The battle between Varaha and Hiranyaksha is believed to have lasted for a thousand years, which the former finally won. Varaha carried the Earth out of the ocean between his tusks and restored it to its place in the universe. Vishnu married Prithvi (Bhudevi) in this avatar.
Varaha is depicted in art as either purely animal or as being anthropomorphic, having a boar's head on a man's body. In the latter form he has four arms, two of which hold the wheel and conch-shell while the other two hold a mace, sword or lotus or make a gesture (or "mudra") of blessing. The Earth is held between the boar's tusks.
The avatar symbolizes the resurrection of the Earth from a pralaya (deluge) and the establishment of a new kalpa (cosmic cycle).

The hot Egyptian sun reflected off of the brown rocks surrounding us, marveling at the birthplace of the ten commandments I strode purposefully towards the path that would lead me to the summit, only to be stopped in my tracks by the strong voice of mother mount Sinai saying" who do you think that you are to walk up here?, Moses vision quested for forty days while he was up here, clean up what has been left down there"!

Time flowed through me and I witnessed the desecration of faith as it became twisted and turned by desire into an image that could be looked at, described and understood by the senses. I felt the filth that had been left in this valley so many thousands of years ago and ignored in the rush to run up the mountain and to lay claim to have stood in the same spot as the prophet Moses. She was right, who did I think I was.

The year before while in Israel on a yearly pilgrimage, I had felt the energy of Moses calling me to Mt Sinai to pray for the vibration of the ten commandments to be raised once more to the divine status that they hold in the moral fabric of religion. I had been preparing all year, praying, fasting, Sun Dancing and now I was at the bottom of the mountain being told to stay and do what was asked of me and so I did, while laughing at myself for having planned so much on what I would do upon arrival and now here the mother was humbling me, thank you madre linda for putting me in my place.

      My wife Miriam and I created a beautiful offering out of corn meal that I had brought from a ceremony for world peace in Tanzania, we prayed to the up above, the down below, the east, west, north and south, we gave thanks for all of creation and called upon the energies of the saints, sages and prophets of all ages to cleanse and purify the sacred valley of Saint Catherine and to bless the Egyptian people of the Sinai desert and beyond.

     In the shadow of an olive tree we washed our sacred objects given to us by Bhagavan Sri Satya Sai Baba and sprinkled the water on the land, restoring it to to its Dharmic greatness as the birthplace of the ten commandments. As we walked down the valley from Saint Catherine's monastery, a young Bedouin boy ran up to me selling crystals from the area, I bought a dark smoky quartz from him and felt the energy of this sacred site imbedded deep in its crystal matrix.

   This crystal was taken back to Jerusalem, carried to the wailing wall, charged with its energy and then placed in a beautiful offering to the earth which was buried on the Mount of Olives. These ceremonies are of love and carry Pachamama's vibration, the divine earth mother who loves her children no matter what religion they are or where they come from. Pachamama is calling her children to journey to Jerusalem this year to dance, laugh and pray for peace and love to permeate the land. The dry lands that have been watered by centuries of blood and war now call for a reign of peace and kindness, will you please join me in praying for this rain to water the middle east?

A golden flame in Croatia

   Last week I was blessed to go to Zagreb Croatia to visit a dear friend Adam whom I had met in India last year where we played music for Sai Baba together. A good brother with a twinkle in his eye for life. I took the train from Graz, Austria and slept most of the way. On arrival Adam picked me up and we headed to his home, all of a sudden I asked him where the saint was buried in Zagreb, and he said that he did not know of any. Hmm, a strong feeling that someone special is buried here.

   The next day after doing some personal healings and enjoying beautiful croatian Hospitality, we headed downtown for a walk around the city, we ended up in front of the cathedral, this cathedral had such beautiful doors, we walked up to go in and were taking some pictures when a priest walked up to me and asked me where I was from to which I answered Peru, he immediately answered me in spanish, happy to show me around and then leaned over and whispered into my ear that he was also a futbol referee.. He eventualy led me to the tomb of Aloysius Viktor Stepinac, a cardinal who was beatified by Pope John Paul the second.

   As i meditated in front of Cardinal Stepinac's tomb, I felt him indicating that I should pray for the confidence of Croatia and its people, to hold ceremony to awaken the golden light energy of the earth and he showed me how people had been deeply affected in their solar plexus. Interestingly, cancer is wide spread in Croatia and its normal for people to pass away from it, more now after the war. We left happily, knowing that the lord had brought us the Soccer Priest to show us around the beautiful cathedral.

   The next day after doing a fire ceremony in the morning and healing's during the day that were deep and moving for all of us, we started an offering to the earth ceremony with beautiful natural ingredients. I have never done a fire ceremony and an offering to the earth ceremony in the same day and was curious about why the lord had arranged it so, at the end of the day I knew it was for protection as the ceremony was so smooth and loving without any unnecessary interruptions.

   As we prayed and added rice, wheat, flowers, spices and cooking powders to the growing mandala, it became evident that we were not just praying for ourselves but for the entire country. The mandala became a heart of roses with lit candles around it and as I spoke to Lord Vishnu the preserver whose silver statue was in the middle of the heart, the candles shimmered and danced whenever his name was mentioned.

   The heart mandala was pulsing with golden light and the flames leaned in towards the center, as we prayed and focused on releasing all negativity in the land and strengthening our purpose on earth, to live in truth and love, the flames danced in happiness.

   Throughout the ceremony we chanted the Gayatri Mantra and felt its cleansing energy and blessings permeate our hearts and the sacred space that we were creating together. The candles were distributed to everyone after the ceremony was finished, with the vision of sharing and spreading the golden flame of love and divine purification.

   As adam carried the bundle of offerings to his home, he called me urgently to come outside and we watched an enormous bright light travel across the sky above Zagreb and then it just disappeared, poof! I was impressed to say the least:).

   We returned to the ceremonial room and I noticed a strong heart design over a picture in the hallway, almost the same exact shape of the mandala that we had just created, but you could only see it from where I was sitting, another proof of Gods loving presence.

The mandala was distributed into four major rivers, a sacred well in the center of Zagreb and in the hearts of all sentient beings everywhere, as it flows through the rivers down to the sea, it will help wash away the war energies and help those souls in the unmarked graves and forgotten places on their journey home. May this ceremony help in a good way. I bow down to Lord Satya Sai Baba and thank him for using this humble servant in the service of humanity.

Giving thanks for Divine Inspiration

Throughout my life I have always been attracted to good books, music and film. They were always a place where I could get inspired, learn some new things and dream about a future that could be like what I am writing about/wrote about. For years I have been following certain ideas and visions that were given to me through Ayahausca experiences or transcendental states of meditation and heightened senses of awareness. These visionary states helped to jump over my mind into the love divine of the higher intellect also known as Buddhi in Sanskrit.

   The love divine of the higher intellect goes beyond dream film consciousness or imaginations of a reality based fantasy and brings one to the place of here and now, and in this here and now I listen to the self of what been a hairs breadth away from my understanding for centuries. I hear it and it says"write, share, be open, learn again who you are".

Give our rightous anger to the lord

Past karmas, decisions made in haste, not considering ones feelings, being selfish. There are so many ways to upset people and make enemies and sometimes people come after us wether we believe that we deserve it or not and darts can be thrown, assumptions made and deep wounds caused. This morning I facilitated a vedic fire ceremony that was beautiful and very clear at Pachamama Wasi in Yanahuara Peru. the main message was forgiveness, to forgive those who go out of their way to hurt us. No matter how right we may be to hold on to our anger, we must forgive them and let go and if we can't let go, then give it to the lord. No matter how difficult it may be, even if we dont understand forgiveness, just give it to the lord. To make sure I got the message, I was tested hours later by a situation exactly like that I just described and it was super difficult to forgive and to let go, I howled and growled and had no choice in the end but to give it to the lord, what else can I do? How I was called to Jerusalem

In 2009 while doing healing work in Denver Colorado, I received an indication from Sai Baba to go to Jerusalem during the month of October, I had spoken with a friend about going to Jerusalem a few months back but it was nothing besides an idea at that time. Once the spiritual indication was given along with a date, things quickly fell into place and I was in Israel in October just in time for the festival of Sukkot. I had written some devotees of Sai Baba that I had found through the internet and I was invited to attend the monthly bhajan sessions of devotional singing being held in Haifa in the north of the country.

So off I went to meet people I had never met and yet once I was at the home where the singing was going to be held, it turned out that I knew one of the owners of the house from Sai Baba's ashram in Puttaparthi India. So happy songs were held and they pointed me in the right directions to go. I traveled to Nazareth, the sea of Galilee and to the river Jordan where Jesus was baptized by John. I arrived at the baptismal site super early as I had no idea about the schedule or when it opened, I thought it never closed but it was behind a beautiful building that unfortunately was locked. So I waited and waited and soon I could feel Jesus indicating to me to go and sit by the closed door, I did not go immediately and only after the third message I walked over and sat by the door and within less then five minutes a woman walked up to me and asked by if I was Juan something or another from some latin american country to which I replied, no Im Manu from Peru, she asked me if I was with a group and if I was not, did I have a pastor to baptize me? To which I replied nope, no group nor pastor, just here because I felt the call to which she replied, I can get you a pastor please wait for an hour. I waited for an hour and soon I was being baptized in the sacred waters by Bob the pastor from Texas, an incredible giant of a man with sweetness in his heart and scripture on his tongue. He led me through the process of understanding the ritual death of being baptized and being born anew.

After being baptized, I continued my journey onwards to Jerusalem where I met a Jewish Sufi who owns an esoteric book shop where I mentioned that I needed to do an offering to the earth ceremony and that I had been sent by Sai Baba, he looked at me non plussed and picked up the phone and arranged a place for us to do the ceremony that evening. I went to the market in old Jerusalem and as I walked past the stalls of dried fruits and spices, I heard Jesus say, take salt and sugar for the ceremony. While we were doing the ceremony , I was told to have salt in one hand and sugar in the other and to mix them and place them on the sheet and to create the design with it, to which my Jewish friend exclaimed, how do you know this ancient rite from the Kabala of mixing the sweet and salty, which describes the sweet and salty of life? I mentioned that I had some help in the marketplace from the lord with a smile.

This mandala came out in the shape of the old city of Jerusalem.We prayed for there to be peace in Israel and within the hearts of all sentient beings everywhere. After the ceremony I mentioned that the wrapped up bundle needed to be buried on a hill. I was put in touch with Ibrahim al Fawah, a Sufi elder who lives on the Mount of Olives and has his home open to to people from all over the world to come and experience Jerusalem regardless of race or religion. His home is a base for many peacemakers from around the world who come to pray and meditate in the Holy Land. He most graciously took us to the Mount of Olives where we buried the first of eleven bundles that are to be buried around Jerusalem over a period of eleven years.

From Jerusalem I headed back to Haifa to facilitate a sacred fire ceremony, a vedic Yagna with like minded spiritual family. We chanted sacred mantras and sang bhajans with laughter in our hearts and hope in our souls. We prayed for rain and a reign of peace to cover all the middle east. During the ceremony I felt the energy of the prophet Moses and he sang a sacred Icaro through me about the ten commandments and how so many of us have forgotten them and that if all religions followed their teachings, there would be no conflict. I also felt the strong energy of Mount Sinai calling me there.

I left Israel profoundly changed and thank God that he invites me there to work for peace and look forward to sharing it with you. I have been to Mount Sinai in 2010 and will go to Israel again in 2011, you are most welcome to join me as we journey through the holy land, healing ourselves as we let go of our weeds and sow seeds of peace in the fertile land of our beloved Pachamama.

Global earth healing

A few weeks ago I attended my fathers sweat lodge, it was powerful and tender at the same time. In the fourth round, I received a message from the lagoon up the mountain from our property here in Yanahuara peru. It told me to come up and visit it and to take a bath in her. During all my years living here I have never made it up there. I also received the date, December 22nd, a day after the lunar eclipse and summer solstice here in the southern hemisphere.

I'm writing this on the evening of the 22nd of
December because I have been instructed to do so by the Apu (mountain spirit) called Puma Wanka, this Apu feeds the 13,000 foot high lagoon with it's crystalline waters. As I hiked up to the mountain with family and friends, i carried all of my past stress and karma to give to the lagoon, as we walked through the high mountain cloud forest, listening to Andean parakeets twittering happily, I felt that today is an important day in my life and the lives of those walking up the mountain with me. We were ready to give it away, our bad habits, judgments and projective fears.

We climbed higher and higher past isolated houses of indigenous shepherds herding their lamas, heading into the clouds and colder temperatures, we put on hats and gloves, zipped up our jackets and continued to chew on our coca leaves to give us energy.

5 hours later we were welcomed by the sight of cool snow covered landscapes, the immense heart of the mountain was so close to us. We could see the incredible collection of ice accumulated around the top of the mountain and at the base was the sacred lagoon being fed by five or six different streams of crystal clear white water.

We sat by the lagoon and offered up to the Apu, Puma Wanka sacred coca leaves in a small fan of three called a kintu. As we honored the sacred trilogy of the lower, middle and higher worlds, we gave ourselves to the majesty of Pachama, our sacred mother earth.

I could hear her all around me, speaking strong through my soul and she said" give me your flesh, enter this water and leave yourself here, go forth as my child, as me and don't be afraid to share what I tell you to do. Go and write, share your experiences of what you do for me, people will read them, a few at first and then more, it is time to share"

We bathed ourselves in the crisp waters under a warm sun that came out for a few minutes to warm us while we bathed and when we finished, it went back behind the thick cool clouds.Placing ceremonial offerings onto a small bundle, we wrapped it up and tied it onto a beautiful little reed boat and pushed it out into the lagoon and watched it float across until we saw it no more.

Here i am, a new man, a son of Pachamama, heeding her call and sharing it with you. I will be writing about the offering to the earth and fire ceremonies that I do around the world with her grace and explain to you what happens when we do them.

From Moscow to Jerusalem , coastal deserts to Concrete jungles, the ceremony travels with her blessings to heal the lands and hearts of her children who are too busy to remember their true mother. Join me as we take time to remember to love our land and her people.

I was born in Rio de Janeiro Brasil and grew up in Peru, India and Northern California. My parents have always been traveling and I grew up on the road with some brief long period stays in between. It has taught me so much and given me a deep appreciation of cultural beliefs and differences of opinions.

  Most of the past twelve years, my travels have been of a spiritual kind. I traveled to different places to heal myself, learn from healers and to delve deep into the teachings of God in different forms. As I travel with a purpose it brings me to the realization that we are all one and yet so different and this unity in diversity brings us closer to ourself no matter which form or flavor we are in.

   Traveling with a purpose that goes deeper then just taking pictures and admiring the view can be so rewarding, jumping off the beaten track, missing ones train or being forced to adapt to the circumstances of the moment teaches us patience, gives us character and helps us to be here now.

   I would like to share travel with a purpose with you and invite you to join me on my sacred journeys as we give to the communities we travel through, share our abundance and knowledge, give of our skills and heart and learn to be here now in all that we do, connecting to the true source within and receiving from the divine, messages that are given to us on each specific journey.. The journey to Peru in November is of abundance and Pachmamas treasure chest is open and waiting for us.
